Rory’s Story is a must read!

September 8, 2011 MAX Employment News

Nothing demonstrates the work we do in both Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities across Australia moreso than Rory’s story. While Rory’s own unique story weaves through his artwork ‘A NEW LIGHT’, the assistance and persistance from his MAX Employment consultants resonates Australia wide and for thousands of individuals just like Rory who need someone to believe in them and guide them.

We engaged Rory to tell his story and this piece of magic was produced…

A NEW LIGHT – authored and painted by Rory G Combo, 17/5/11

1. The coral represents all the problems in today’s society, the problems that are holding people back from achieving their life goal. The fish in the coral represents the people not being able to move on and break free from whatever is holding them back.

2. The fish in the open ocean represent the people that have taken their first steps to make change. They want to better their life and they start to have freedom that their problems were holding them back from.

3. The dolphins jumping and the sea turtle swimming to the surface into the open represent the light at the end of the tunnel. The people have broken free from the hole, are happier. The changes that they made in their life are shining a new light into them, with the help from MAX Employment

The colours represent MAX Employment’s purple; the yellow, white and blue blend with the purple.
