THE GREAT AUSTRALIAN CHRISTMAS JOBS DRIVE

The Great Australian Christmas Jobs Drive was a great success with over 11,000 job seekers looking towards a brighter 2012.

For every job seeker placed into sustained employment as part of The Great Australian Christmas Jobs Drive, MAX Employment pledged to donate to The Smith Family. On 16 December 2011 MAX Employment Managing Director Mr. Michael Hobday proudly presented The Smith Family with a donation of $100 000!

The presentation ceremony, at Peppertree Cafe in the heart of Bankstown, included special guests The Hon. Kate Ellis MP., MAX Employment Ambassadors Dr. Warren Mundine and Steve Mortimer, and The Smith Family Chief Executive Officer, Dr Lisa O’Brien.

Minister for Employment Participation, the Hon Kate Ellis MP said that The Great Australian Christmas Jobs Drive truly changed the lives of thousands of unemployed Australians and provided them with the best possible Christmas present in 2011 – a decent job.

MAX Employment would like to thank those employers that supported the campaign and provided a disadvantaged Australian with the greatest gift of all!
