Position: Experienced Traffic Controllers
Location: ROMA
A wholly Australian-owned company with over 700 staff nationally, supported by over 400 traffic control vehicles operating from city and regional depots in all mainland Australian States is seeking experienced traffic controllers for project works in Roma. The company will provide you with two meals and accommodation as well as pay for your travel time from your place of residence to Roma and return, with a roster of 10 days on, 4 days off.
The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:
- A current QLD Traffic Control Licence
- A current Driver’s Licence
- A level 2 Traffic Guidance (30864QLD) Licence or aiming towards obtaining a licence
- TMR Level 3 or 4 will be highly regarded
- OH&S White/Blue Card
- Excellent communication verbal & written
- Reliable and flexible with availability

Position: 2 x Boilermakers / 2nd Class Welders
Location: Toowoomba
The company has a family atmosphere and no swearing or crudeness is acceptable there. The position is casual with a view to permanency in 6 months. Remuneration will be around $30 / hr, and overtime may be required from time to time.
The successful candidate MUST BE a decent welder with demonstrated experience and be willing to undertake a welding test.

An outstanding opportunity exists for an enthusiastic Transport & Logistics Manager to join a busy transport company with operations in Roma. The right candidate will be offered a highly competitive salary, rental subsidy and the use of a company four wheel drive utility.
The job has the overall responsibility for the successful management of all the operational tasks of the Roma Branch. Experience in a similar role within transport and logistics is highly desirable. Ideally the successful applicant will have car, truck and forklift licences and the candidate needs to be flexible, able to meet deadlines and enjoy a demanding fast paced work environment.
To be successful you MUST HAVE demonstrated previous experience in:
- Cost management and an interpretation of financial data
- Management of operational personnel
- Freight office administration
- Demonstrated ability in the effective utilisation/operation of a fleet
- Be competent in the management and monitoring of the company plant and equipment to ensure efficient and effective use of resources
- Ability to manage the operational requirements of contractors to supplement temporary labour needs as required
- Experience in supervising, monitoring and coordinating all unloading and loading of vehicles
- Filter outbound freight for either despatch or on forwarding
- Ability to ensure legislative licensing compliance
- Maintenance of accurate records of all drivers/operators in relation to currency of licences to operate company plant and equipment
- Experience in managing pallet inventory (Chep & Loscam) to minimum standards and simultaneously ensuring there is compliance with all procedures and disciplines relating to pallets

Position: MC Truck Driver

Location: ROMA and Surrounds
A trucking company situated 80kms south of Roma requires a MC truck driver to join their team working in Roma and surrounds. The suitable applicant MUST HAVE a clean driving record and MC truck licence. Previous MC truck driving experience is preferred. The job will involve driving a water truck for road works and the roster is 21 days on 7 days off with 10 hours/day. Accommodation and meals are provided whilst on roster.
The successful applicant must be able to pass random drug and alcohol testing
