Disability Employment Services
Within Disability Employment Services, all eligible job seekers with a disability, injury or health condition will be able to receive assistance from an employment service provider to prepare for, find and keep a job.
There are no waiting lists so those eligible will receive the right assistance as early as possible. There is now more focus on education, training and skills development to increase your chances of getting and staying in a job.
Disability Employment Services providers will provide a mix of services to address both job related and other more personal concerns. The Disability Employment Services aim is to achieve jobs that last.
Integrated Service Delivery Model
Through our Integrated Service Delivery Model, underpinned by our community linkages, MAX Employment provides personalised support services for our job seekers with short term and long term illness, injuries and disabilities.
Our holistic Integrated Service delivery model can be defined into 5 components -
Engagement
It is imperative that all parties work together in a seamless manner to determine an agreed vocational goal for you. We achieve this through 3 way interviews with you, your Employment Consultant and our Allied Health Professional. At MAX we also link you to community supports. You will receive regular newsletters and be invited to participate in our client consultative committee.
Assessment
Our specialised Employment Consultants together with our team of Psychologists, Rehabilitation Counsellors, Exercise Physiologists and Occupational Therapists work with you to identify your strengths, work abilities and vocational goals and develop a rehabilitation plan.
Assistance
You will receive tailored health and employment interventions to address your vocational barriers. You may also be provided with training services to further enhance your employability.

Post Placement Support
