![]() | Michael HobdayPresident Human Services International and MAXNetWork Managing Director Over the past 30 years, Managing Director Michael Hobday has worked as a CEO and COO in large organisations in the private and public sector, including positions of key importance within State and Federal Government departments. Michael has developed significant experience in service delivery components specifically in major change management projects and people and industrial relations issues in health, transport and employment sectors. Michael was appointed Managing Director in April 2004 in addition to his international role as President, Human Services International for MAXIMUS. MAXIMUS oversees the management of all MAXIMUS Human Service operations outside the USA which extends to Australia as MAXNetWork, to Israel as MAXIMUS Israel and to the United Kingdom as MAXIMUS UK Employment & Training. Michael is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Australian Human Resources Institute of Australia and the Australian Institute of Management.

![]() | Jason ShieldExecutive General Manager - Employment Services Jason Shield has over 20 years experience in Executive leadership, Senior Management, Human Resources and Training Management roles within major retail and employment services organisations. Jason has extensive experience within the company in his past positions as the Director of Human Capital, General Manager Employment Services (NT/QLD) and Company Secretary. Jason is now responsible for leading MAX Employment operations nationally across all states of Australia (over 80 sites and close to 1000 staff). Jason frequently acts in the Managing Director role across MAX Employment and Maximus Solutions Australia. Jason is member of the Griffith University Business School Alumni, an Associate Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management (AFAIM) and Certified Professional of the Australian Human Resource Institute (CAHRI).

![]() | Jim MacDonaldExecutive General Manager - Corporate Finance and Facilities and Company Secretary Jim MacDonald joined MAX Employment in June 2010. Jim has held CFO roles for a number of listed international companies including Ludowici Ltd, Metal Storm Ltd and Grow Force Australia Ltd. Jim was also CFO of Endeavour Foundation for a number of years. He is a Certified Practicing Accountant and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Jim has extensive experience in International accounting and tax, mergers and acquisition, manufacturing and large IT implementations. Jim has professional qualifications in accounting and company secretary practice.

![]() | John GaudryExecutive General Manager - MAXimusSolutions Australia John Gaudry has a strong foundation in business and management with experience up to Managing Director level. He specialises in leading large projects requiring a mix of information technology, financial, business and strategic planning expertise and has extensive complex procurement and probity advisory experience. John completed a Bachelor of Commerce, Accounting major at University of Canberra, and has been employed with MAXNetWork since 2006. John’s experience with the company is expansive having been the Executive Director of Consulting, the General Manager of Employment Services, Chief Operating Officer, Managing Director MAXIMUS Employment & Training UK and now Executive General Manager of MAXimusSolutions Australia. With 30 years senior management experience in a variety of contexts, John has gained a great deal of skills and expertise which he now applies across a broad range of complex strategic assignments for a variety of public and private sector clients.

![]() | Katrina ThompsonExecutive General Manager - MAXimusSolutions Australia Health and Training Katrina Thompson has over 11 years experience in management and leadership having worked in management roles across a variety of sectors including: Health, Training, Employment, Environment and Insurance. Katrina has specialised in the provision of consultancy services, new projects, business management and operational improvements. With a proven record of project management Katrina has lead teams to ensure comprehensive understanding of new contracts and effective execution of critical performance and compliance metrics. Katrina has experience in consulting and presenting to large corporate clients, Boards of Directors and global company CEO’s. With a solid background in management Katrina has developed strategic plans with a focus on quality, growth and profitability.

![]() | Richard SpurrellExecutive General Manager - Quality, Performance and Innovation Richard Spurrell joined MAX Employment in 2004 with over 25 years experience in the employment and vocational training sectors including 18 years in the Australian Commonwealth Public Service developing, delivering and managing employment and training programs. He has established new businesses in the training and employment field including a Registered Training Organisation and Group Training Company for a non-profit organisation, and previously advised community organisations on the operation and delivery of government funded employment and training programs. Previous roles in MAX Employment include General Manager Employment Services and General Manager Quality Performance & Innovation where he was responsible for all issues affecting delivery of Employment Services contracts. Richard holds a Masters degree in Business Administration and has completed post graduate studies in accounting.
